Pamela
Folse is an educator with extensive experience in elementary, middle,
and district-level settings. A former classroom teacher, Pamela taught
general and special education elementary students. She also served in
the capacity of elementary school assistant principal and then elementary
school principal. She is currently serving as supervisor
for her district where she is responsible for middle school curriculum,
section 504 issues, and literacy curriculum.
Since beginning her teaching career in the
1980’s, Pamela has actively pursued the goal of remaining current on the
latest educational research, especially in the areas of reading and teaching
at-risk students. As a classroom teacher, she took her special education background,
along with her expertise in reading, and formulated strategies which allowed
her students to be highly successful.
She specializes in staff development training
that focuses on her experiences as a teacher, a reading specialist, a school
administrator, and a central office supervisor. Her diverse educational background,
meaningful topics, and her entertaining style allow her to deliver an unforgettable
message to classroom teachers, administrators, central office staff, and school
board members. She also speaks to community members, parents, and business leaders.
