Dave Chapman has 27 years experience in public education as a high school social studies teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal and superintendent.  In his work as a school leader, Dave has focused on leadership characteristics and tendencies as a way of improving his own professional growth and has used it to provide growth among his staff.

Dave has presented at various workshops, conferences and has facilitated staff in-services for schools in the United States, as well as Hong Kong.  His presentations focus on the positive aspects of teaching, with an emphasis on Invitational Education and how educators can create a very inviting climate and culture within their school community that leads to improved student learning and highly effective teaching.  His message to educators is one that encourages and motivates in a way that promotes self-reflection and inspiration to those in attendance
